Post-traumatic stress disorder is considered as one of the invisible complications of war. Spouses of post-traumatic stress disorder veterans are considered indirect victims of war. They endure a lot of burden of care and Pressure. Therefore, this study was carried out with the aim of the effect of the developed parallel process model on the burden of care for the spouses of veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder. Methods: This semi-experimental study was conducted on 30 spouses of veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder in Torbat Heydarieh city in 1401 by simple random allocation sampling method. The collection tool was the burden of care questionnaire. In the test group, 6 sessions (30-40) of minutes once a week were conducted based on the structures of the parallel developed parallel process model. After collecting the data, it was analyzed using SPSS 21 statistical software. findings The findings showed rabies (eta = 0.69, P < 0.01). Thus, 69% of care burden changes can be related to the parallel process model developed. Conclusion: Considering the effectiveness of the developed parallel process model on reducing the care burden of veterans spouses, it is suggested that managers and health practitioners use these complementary and non-pharmacological treatment methods to improve and enhance the health and performance of veterans and their family members.
