Subsystems of Veterans' Healthcare

Introduction: This research was conducted to clarify subsystems of veterans' healthcare system with regards to the efficiency and effectiveness of this system in improving their health level.
Method: Veterans' healthcare system was clarified using a cross-survey. Research population included legislative and executive experts in various state healthcare policymaking sectors, Martyrs and veterans' affairs foundation, healthcare services management of the military, and special veterans :union:s. A group of 247 were selected out of 247 for the study using Cochran formula. Library method was used in order to determine items and scales, and questionnaires were used in data gathering.
Results: Variable t-test results acquired by SPSS software show unacceptable status quo. Also, t-test results were used to introduce and clarify subsystems according to the conceptual model in order of importance.
Conclusion: Research findings suggest that veterans' healthcare systems need to be revised and
redesigned. The suggested model in this study includes research subsystems, performance and well-being analysis, medical information and technology, veterans' healthcare staff training, and improvement strategies for these subsystems. |
