Those who got high scores than cut off point in GHQ were identified as subjects and randomly were divided in two control and experimental groups. All subjects were requested to fill in the Quality of Life – the short Form- (WHO-QOL-BREF). The pre and post test as well as the follow up test were taken form the two groups. The subjects of the experimental group participated in the MBCT program (eight sessions) while the control group has not received it.
Results: Analysis by Manova showed the MBCT program had significant outcome on quality of life on the experimental group. The follow up in a period of three months revealed that these outcomes were stable.
