Covid 19 and Pregnancy - A Brief Report

Introduction: Due to the prevalence of Covid 19 virus and prolongation of the epidemy and the increase in the number of infected women and in order to reduce the methods of transmission of the virus in pregnancy, we decided to review the incidence of this virus in pregnancy and its symptoms in pregnant women in the form of a short report.
Method: In a review study and in the period from 2019 to the first 6 months of 2020, important databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed and Up to date in terms of keywords Covid 19, pregnancy, complications, preterm delivery and... was examined.
Results: The most common clinical manifestations of patients with Covid 19, including pregnant women, are fever, cough and muscle pain. In laboratory tests in these patients, lymphocytes reduce and CRP increase. Complications of pregnancy and childbirth in affected women include increased preterm labor and increased cesarean section.
Conclusion: Remdsivir and chloroquine are used as other drugs of choice for pregnant women.
