Introduction: The aim of this study was to present a structural model of quality of life based on aging perception in veterans, with the mediating role of resilience. Methods: This descriptive-correlational research was conducted on 383 war veterans, selected through convenience sampling from those referring to the Veterans Affairs Center. Data were collected using the Quality of Life Questionnaire, Aging Perception Scale, and Resilience Questionnaire. To examine the research questions, general fit indices, parsimonious indices, and comparative indices were used to evaluate the fit of the proposed model using SPSS version 26 and AMOS version 24. Results: The results of structural equation modeling supported the relationship between quality of life and aging perception with the mediating role of resilience. Furthermore, the overall model fit indices (RMSEA = 0.079, χ² = 275.693) indicated that the proposed model had an acceptable fit with the sample data and a close alignment with the theoretical assumptions. Conclusion: Resilience plays a key mediating role in moderating the effect of aging perception on the quality of life of veterans.
