Pulseoximetry is used to monitor patients routinely and plays an important role in better controlling the vital symptoms. The use of the probe for other parts of the body and the importance of correct and rapid diagnosis of hypoxia and its compliance with the findings of the finger probe has been considered. Aim of study is comparing the SPO2 level between the upper and lower limb probes in these patients</span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><b>Materials and methods: </b>This study was conducted on a cross -section of 100 patients hospitalized in the ICU ward of Imam Reza Hospital, including 46 men and 54 women with an average age of 69.14. Demographic, clinical, as well as the numbers obtained the upper and lower extremity pulse probes were recorded. The information obtained from pulse oximetry was compared using a student T -test.</span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="line-height:normal"><span style="unicode-bidi:embed"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><b>Results: </b>There was no significant difference in the SPO2 level of the lower extremity with the upper limbs.
