%0 Journal Article %T The Effectiveness of Constructive Family Therapy on Converting Conflict Management Styles and Increasing Couples Compatibility %J Nurse and Physician within War %V 6 %N 20 %U http://npwjm.ajaums.ac.ir/article-1-577-en.html %R %D 2018 %K Constructive Family Therapy, Marital Satisfaction, Conflict Management Styles, %X Introduction: In this study, the effectiveness of constructive family therapy interventions on changing the coping styles of couple’s conflict and increasing the compatibility of couples referring to the counseling center of Birjand city were examined. Methods: The present study was a semi-experimental, pre-test and post-test with control group in 2015. The statistical population of this study was couples referring to Birjand counseling center. The sample consists of 12 couples (24people) who were applicant family counseling services. Samples were randomly assigned into two experimental and control groups. The instrument used in this study was Rahim's conflict-solving styles questionnaire (ROCI-II) and Erich’s marital satisfaction questionnaire. The research design was a semi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test with control group. First, a pre-test was performed for each group, then a constructive family therapy interventional experimental was performed in 10 sessions. After the completion of the program the post-test was performed. Results: Based on data analysis, using covariance analysis and comparing the pre-test and post-test of the two groups, the teaching of constructive family therapy had a significant effect on integrated style (p = 0.733), avoidance style (P = 0.179), dominant style (p=0.266), compromise style (p =0.558), required style (p = 0.501) and overall satisfaction (p = 0.74) of the couples Conclusion: Constructive family therapy is effective in improving and changing the couple’s conflict management styles and enhancing marital satisfaction and compatibility of couples %> http://npwjm.ajaums.ac.ir/article-1-577-en.pdf %P 6-17 %& 6 %! %9 Research %L A-10-1-178 %+ %G eng %@ 2645-3940 %[ 2018
