Predicting quality of life based on resilience, psychological toughness and social support with the mediating role of assertiveness in working women in Tehran

Introduction: The aim of this study was to investigate the structural relationship between quality of life based on resilience, psychological toughness and social support with the mediating role of assertiveness in working women in Tehran.
 Method: The method used in this study was correlational. The general population of the study was working women in Tehran, who worked in various jobs in Tehran from the fall of 99 until the end of the spring of 1400. Sampling method was available using sampling.. Pearson correlation method and path analysis model were used to analyze the data using AMOS specialized software.
Results: The findings of the present study indicated that psychological hardiness was indirect (due to assertiveness). It has a positive and significant effect on the quality of life of working women. On the other hand, social support indirectly (due to courage) has a positive and significant effect on the quality of life of working women. In addition, resilience indirectly (due to assertiveness) has a positive and significant effect on the quality of life of working women. Another finding of the study indicated that there is a significant relationship between assertiveness and quality of life in working women.
 Conclusion: According to the findings, programs can be designed and implemented to increase resilience, psychological toughness, social support and assertiveness in working women. Improving these characteristics can increase the quality of life for working women.
