The study of job satisfaction among nurses in Tehran military hospitals in 2014

Introduction: Job satisfaction and its effective factors is an important issue in productivity organization. The main purpose of this study is evaluation of Job satisfaction and its effective factors In Tehran selected military hospitals. Methods: This study was cross sectional, and nurses in selected hospitals of Tehran's military. The hospitals are selected by non-random and sampling method was simple random. The total of100 patients were studied. In this study, Dunnett job satisfaction and demographic questionnaire was used to evaluate. Results: The findings showed that overall job satisfaction of nurses with an average of154/19 is good. Motivational factors mean78/55 and hygiene factors mean was 75/64.The greatest level of satisfaction was responsibility in work with relationship with co-workers and the lowest level of satisfaction was related to salary. Conclusion: Overall, Job satisfaction was good. Increasing salaries, job difficulty benefits, on time payment and providing welfare facilities can be effective in improving employee performance.
